Sun Life Montreal Head Office

Steeped in history, Sun Life launched the first phase of the transformation of its Quebec head office in 2018. The goal: to create flexible spaces that adjust to the needs of each department and each individual. Confronted with a prominent architectural structure, the intention was to soften the strong lines with the help of organic shapes to create fluid circulation. Taking advantage of the irregular structure to create collaborative rooms, we freed up the perimeter and provided flexibility and natural light. Biophilic design was also incorporated, increasing the concentration and performance of users.

The use of materials and textures are inspired by the historic character of the building and the organic forms of the island of Montreal. The clients brand is integrated through variations of their corporate colors and, combined with the warmth of natural wood, serve to ensure comfortable spaces that are timeless and lively.
